Updates

Its been a while, sorry internet. Its early on Sunday morning, so we finally have time to update the blog. First things first though: How have you been? That's good to hear. We have been well as well. Life with a dog has been fun for the last 2 weeks. I sometimes still don't believe we "own" a dog, but as soon as its time to pick up her little "land mines" I'm quickly reminded.

Here's a few things we've been up to:
Monday, we had our first thanksgiving meal. The 3rd annual Urban Thanksgiving was at Caroline's and Brooke's house, and its a gathering of our friends from Otter Creek.

Thursday we got together for dinner and TV with the Farmers, the Lavenders and the Joneses. Maybel and Maverick got to play all evening, so she slept the whole night through. That was a HUGE blessing! Thanks Mav! (we had been getting up at 4 or so for the last few weeks to take her out)

Friday we met and had dinner with the Nunley's at California Pizza kitchen, and it was fun. We sat by the back door though, so it was drafty. Thanks CPK.

On Saturday, Maybel had her second round of shots and a check-up. She's almost up to 15 pounds, what a meatball! Dr. Malone and the technician both just kept saying "She's gonna be huge." Thanks, we both were REAL excited to hear that.

Maybel's been really good lately. Katie finally got her to go on a long walk on Wednesday night. With her getting more exercise during the day, she's sleeping more at night. She's also barking and biting less. So, its pretty awesome.

Movie:
I like you Betty.
It's Danny sir.
Danny.

  1. Couple things...

    1. What happened to the Warren G post?
    B. During your dinner with Nunley, did you find out why he hasn't been on the EdnaBlog for the past 6 months?

If you could field these questions one at a time...

  2. I deleted the G-Child post. It looked funny, but it actually was not.

Nunley was Disney World for a week, and I think he and Pluto got into it on Magic Mountain.

  3. If no one else will say it, I will. It's Caddyshack.

    I hate golf. No offense.
