It's finally winter, and you could have fooled me. And where is all this wind coming from? Just wanted to update you all on a few things.
I guess the biggest one is my parents anniversary. We got together some of their friends last night at Shogun for their 34th anniversary dinner. The food was excellent, and we had a good time. My dad tried to catch a rice ball from the chef, but he failed. It was a sad moment for the Lipscomb legacy.
A close second was Katie's accident. She had a fender-bender on Friday night. She got distracted while she was driving (probably because I sent her a text message) and hit a car in the turn lane. She was fine, and so was everyone in the other car, so that was good news. It's not a bad thing, and someone has even suggested that it was intentional. Even though that is a little funny, its definitley not true. Katie LOVES her little Honda. Well, maybe not loves, but you know.
We are going to be in C-town for a few days and Marietta for a few as well. It should be fun, we always have a good time with our families. It's finally starting to feel like Christmas. We both have a long break from work, so we're gonna live it up. Meaning that we will not do anything and hang out with Mabes.
We send out Christmas cards last week. For those of you who haven't gotten them yet or didn't give us your address, here's what it looked like:
Hope everyone is safe and warm and has a Merry Christmas!
Quote: Come on boy, let's go find your sister!
The quote is definitely Cousin Eddie on Christmas Vacation. It is right when Aunt Bethany got there with her cat in the box... I know because I've watched it twice in a week.
ReplyDeleteHope you all had a great first Christmas together!
Excellent work Em. Now update your blog!
